The IT industry suffered the least from the labor market crisis.



The average salary when hiring new employees decreased by 10% compared to the figures for the first half of February 2022. This is stated in the study of the expert-analytical center of the personnel portal grc.ua.

Specialists specified that the average salary in April in all open vacancies is UAH 18.7 thousand.

The IT industry suffered the least from the labor market crisis. The share of job offers for IT professionals significantly exceeds job offers for other professions. The average salary in the IT sector is UAH 86.5 thousand.

The average salary in top management in April in Ukraine amounted to UAH 63.2 thousand.

The top five professional areas that offer high salaries in April also include specialists in marketing, advertising, PR with an average monthly payment of UAH 26.6 thousand, specialists in the extraction of raw materials (UAH 26.5 thousand), as well as specialists in the construction industry. (UAH 25.3 thousand).

At the same time, the top five professions with the lowest salaries in April included HR managers (UAH 15.5 thousand), medical and pharmaceutical specialists (UAH 14.9 thousand), and HoReCa specialists (UAH 14 thousand). The lowest salaries in April are offered on average in agriculture (UAH 13.3 thousand) and in the automotive business (UAH 11 thousand).

Kyiv, which lost its leadership in terms of wages in March, is gradually regaining its positions. In January, the average offer in the capital was UAH 31,000, in the first half of February - UAH 30,200, in March - UAH 25,000, and in April they offered an average of UAH 26,000.

Among the regions with high average wages in April were Dnipropetrovsk region (UAH 25.6 thousand), Lviv region (UAH 24.8 thousand), Poltava region (UAH 23.4 thousand) and Odessa region (UAH 23 thousand).

The lowest wages are offered in Khmelnytsky region (average UAH 14.5 thousand in April), Chernivtsi region (UAH 14 thousand), Ivano-Frankivsk region (UAH 13.6 thousand), Ternopil region (UAH 13.5 thousand) . The Kharkiv region joined the regions with the lowest average wages in April with an indicator of UAH 11.5 thousand.

However, experts stressed that there were significantly fewer vacancies on the Ukrainian labor market. The survey showed that two-thirds are willing to receive lower wages, just to get a job. The largest proportion of those who are willing to make concessions in wage negotiations can reduce the desired amount by 10-25%.
