- Russian missile attack damages Ukrainian and international media offices

On the night of 6 April, Russian troops attacked Kyiv with missiles. One person was killed, three others were injured and there was significant destruction.
After a missile strike by Russian troops, the buildings where the editorial offices of the channels of the state-run enterprise Multimedia Platform of Foreign Broadcasting of Ukraine were located were seriously damaged. This is reported by Dom.
In particular, the newsroom of the FREEDOM TV channel was destroyed as a result of the attack.
This room was part of the renovated studio, which began to build after the February strike that damaged the studios of the MPIU channels, - stated in the message.
At the moment FREEDOM continues to broadcast from the reserve studio. In addition, the premises where the international editorial offices (digital platforms UATVEnglish, Gaze, UATVEspañol, UATVArabic, UATVPortuguês), the editorial office of the Dom channel, as well as on-air equipment and offices of the digital editorial office were moved earlier were damaged.

In the business centre that housed the foreign language channels, the top three floors were destroyed. A huge crater formed around the building, while the lower floors were significantly damaged and are currently unusable.
The foreign-language broadcasting staff was not injured.
