Russia prepares for large-scale offensive operations in Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions

The situation in Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions continues to be tense.
Russian troops continue regrouping in Zaporizhzhya Region, preparing to resume assaults in several key directions. This was reported by Vladyslav Voloshyn, the speaker of the Defence Forces of Southern Ukraine, on the air of a telethon.
According to his data, the occupiers are redeploying infantry forces to forward positions, focusing on Gulyaypol and Orekhivka directions, in particular in the area of Malinovka village.
In addition, the Russian army is building up its presence in the Dnieper direction in Kherson Region, where it also intends to intensify assault operations. Voloshyn noted that the occupants do not stop their attempts to land on the islands at the mouth of the Dnieper, but these operations are accompanied by heavy losses.
Speaking about the situation in the Orekhovskyi direction, he said that in the last two weeks the Russian army had been actively striking the village of Kamenske, destroying not only residential houses but also the positions of Ukrainian defenders.
As a result of the intense fighting, there are almost no whole buildings left in the village, and small infantry groups of the Russian army are trying to gain a foothold in these destroyed positions. Despite this, the AFU continue to hold the village and destroy Russian units trying to advance," he informed.
