Invaders can use weather conditions to cause the most harm to civilians.

Russia may launch a new massive strike on the territory of Ukraine as soon as possible, the Ukrainian Defence Ministry's Main Intelligence Directorate's spokesman, Vadym Skibitskyy, has told Corriere della Sera that Russia, despite the shortage of missiles, may launch a strike in cold weather in order to leave Ukrainians without light.

At the same time, he stressed that the Russians lied about the "Christmas truce" and intelligence is recording Russian preparations for more strikes:

We know very well what their truce is, that's how it was in 2014. They don't mean anything. It's just propaganda. Putin is just trying to test the reaction of Ukrainians and the international community. And they are preparing new bombings, we have information about it

At the same time, Skibitsky pointed out that Russia is running out of high-precision and ballistic missiles:

Before New Year's Eve, the Russians used only 20 missiles in raids. In October, they were firing 70-80 each. Now they are also using a mix of air and sea missiles, as well as drones. We also know that they have only 90 Iskanders left. They have problems with producing these weapons. And they have also reduced the frequency of bombardment

The scout warned that the drop in temperatures could be a kind of signal to the invaders and a pretext for a new attack by Ukraine:

They will be trying to hit our energy infrastructure. The temperatures are expected to drop today and tomorrow. And they are trying to leave the entire population of Ukraine without light especially in these moments when it is colder
