Reznikov talks about preparations for a counter-offensive

Reznikov said that preparations for a counter-offensive were almost complete.
The defence minister made this statement during the Unified News TV marathon, Ukrinform reported.
According to Oleksiy Reznikov, the preparatory stage is at the finish line. However, the final decision on the counterattack by the AFU will be taken by the General Staff.
I believe that today we are reaching the finish line, when we can say: yes, everything is ready. After that, the General Staff, the Commander-in-Chief and his team will know how, where and when to decide on the situation on the battlefield," he said.
The Minister also expressed optimistic forecasts. He believes in the success of the Ukrainian counter-offensive.
I believe in it (the counter-offensive - ed.). Much has been done to make it successful. Because if there is no confidence of our generals, our General Staff - from the Commander-in-Chief to the commanders of the respective branches of troops, of course there is no point in going either. So everything has to be planned, three key things have to be considered. This is the availability of armaments to be used, the second is having trained people, our defenders, defenders who know their plan at their level, which means this plan exists. And the third is the provision of this offensive with all the necessary things," the minister stressed.
In addition, according to Reznikov, Ukraine's international partners also believe in victory.
