Police mobilisation: how many law enforcers are involved in combat operations

About 70-75 thousand men who meet the mobilisation criteria serve in the National Police of Ukraine.
Of them, 15,000 are directly involved in the fulfilment of combat tasks. The deputy head of the National Police, Oleksandr Fatsevich, said this on air during the telethon.
Facevich noted that all certified police officers have a reservation from mobilisation, but they are also involved in combat missions. The National Police has created new staff units to protect the country from Russian aggression, and more than 15 thousand police officers are engaged in the protection of the state border.
We have formed special units to support the State Border Guard Service and the Armed Forces of Ukraine. We are currently carrying out tasks in one of the most difficult directions of the front - this is the Lyut brigade, working together with the Predator brigade and the newly created rifle unit of our KORD. They are operating in the Toretsk direction," he added.
In addition, each regional department of the National Police has created rifle battalions, some of which have already completed training. Fatsevich also stressed the importance of police work to evacuate the population, protect strategically important facilities, document crimes by the Russian occupiers and ensure safety on the streets.
Recall that from now on Ukrainian citizens can contact the hotline to complain about the work of the TCC or to receive advice on their rights and obligations in the conditions of mobilisation. Over the past week, the mobilisation hotline received 258 appeals, most of which were resolved over the phone.
