Spending by Poles for one Ukrainian refugee has been calculated

Poland became the country that accepted the largest number of refugees from Ukraine
The Ministry of Social Integration of Poland has calculated that about 1.3 million Ukrainian refugees have settled in their country since the beginning of the war in Ukraine. Tas also stressed that approximately the same number of Ukrainians have already returned to their homeland after spending some time in Poland, writes Biznes Wprost .
Currently, Poland has spent about 2,200 złoty for every Ukrainian. This includes a one-time payment of PLN 300 per person, monthly payments for children under the "500+" and "Family Guardianship Capital" programs, the article says.
Poland received about 144 million euros in aid from the European Union. This amount went mainly to strengthen the border.
It should be noted that Ukrainians in Poland also received and continue to receive separate assistance from international organizations and private charitable foundations. The Poles also help the refugees on their own initiative.
We add that about 176,000 Ukrainians are now studying in Polish schools, that is, only a quarter of school-age students have begun their education.
It should be noted that a fifth of those who are currently in Poland plans to return to Ukraine before the onset of winter, SchengenVisaInfo writes. Many do not want to rush. People are afraid of a difficult winter - a sharp rise in prices and interruptions in heating, and the fear of missile strikes also remains. At the same time, 35% of Ukrainians plan to come home by next year.
