Ukrainian fighters have arrived in Germany to learn how to operate the Marder infantry fighting vehicle.
The group landed in Cologne on Thursday and should soon begin training on the armoured vehicles. The training is part of military aid to Ukraine, which will also receive 40 Marder BMPs.
These vehicles are to be part of Germany's new military assistance to Ukraine. The Germans are also to transfer Leopard tanks to Ukraine. Training to operate these tanks is also about to begin.
