One year after the Kakhovka HPP explosion: what is now happening in the Kakhovka reservoir

A year has passed since the Kakhovskaya HPP dam was blown up by Russian troops.
What has changed in a year since the Kakhovka HPP was blown up and how border guards are fighting here now, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine has told.
The undermining of the Kakhovska HPP row by the occupants caused civilian casualties, large-scale destruction of infrastructure and billions in losses.
This war crime led to the shallowing of the Kakhovka reservoir. Significant areas of land that were previously under water are now overgrown with trees and various vegetation.
These changes have had an impact on the fighting, which continues unabated on this section of the front.
Complicating the situation is the proximity to the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant, which was seized by Russian troops in 2022. The defence here is held by Ukrainian border guards.
How the work of the fighters was complicated by the explosion of the hydroelectric power plant, what is now hitting the advanced positions of the occupants and what drones fix on the territory of the nuclear power plant, see in the report.
Earlier Socialportal reported that the water arrives in the Kakhovka reservoir. On the Big Lug for the first time in 50 years there is a flood.
It was also reported that the border guard with the call sign "Doc" told an incredible story of rescuing people after the explosion of the Kakhovskaya HPP.
