Naftogaz warned: the heating season will come later and end earlier

The air temperature on the premises will be from 17 to 18 degrees Celsius, about four degrees below normal. Yuriy Vitrenko, Chairman of the Board of the National Joint-Stock Company Naftogaz of Ukraine, stated this in an interview with The Guardian.

Without Western financial support, we will run out of gas, which will mean that we will have a high risk of destroying the energy system. Without gas imports, there will be blackouts in large parts of Ukraine,” Vitrenko said.

Yuriy Vitrenko recommended that Ukrainians stock up on blankets and warm clothes when the temperature outside drops to -10 degrees in winter.

The heating season will depend on the help of the allies and the actions of Russia if the aggressor destroys the gas infrastructure or reduces gas supplies to Europe, Yury Vitrenko summed up.
