Ministry of Finance: Ukraine will receive a non-refundable grant of $ 3 billion from the United States
The United States will provide a non-refundable grant of 3 billion to the state budget of Ukraine.
The funds will come through the mechanism of the World Bank. This was announced on Facebook by the Minister of Finance of Ukraine, Serhiy Marchenko.
On this day, there is positive news on the financial front. Today we will receive from the United States 3 billion US dollars to the state budget in the form of a non-repayable grant. The funds will come through the mechanism of the World Bank,” the minister wrote.
The minister also thanked the American partners and the World Bank.
Grant assistance is a significant gift for our country on the Independence Day of Ukraine,” Marchenko wrote.
Marchenko also addressed the Ukrainians.
Today we are not only celebrating the 31st anniversary of Independence, but we must also defend it in the conditions of a full-scale war. And I do not doubt that our struggle will end with victory over the aggressor!, - wrote Sergey Marchenko.
