US military experts approached Biden with a proposal to transfer long-range ATACMS missiles to Ukraine

According to experts, the Biden administration is being overly cautious in trying to avoid provoking a Russian escalation - a nuclear war or a third world war.

20 US military experts, national security experts and diplomats called on the Joe Biden administration to provide Ukraine with long-range weapons, in particular ATACMS missiles. The experts' statement was published in The Hill .

The signatories of the statement believe that the war in Ukraine has reached a turning point and that vital US interests are at stake. They are confident that with the necessary weapons and economic assistance, Ukraine can defeat Russia.

In their opinion, the Biden administration is being overly cautious in trying to avoid provoking a Russian escalation - a nuclear war or a third world war.

US State Department Speaker Ned Price at a briefing has already responded to this call and said that at every stage of the war, US assistance to Ukraine was adapted to the situation at the front.

As Russian forces struggle to regroup in the east and thwart Ukrainian attempts to recapture Kherson in the south, it is time for Ukraine's allies to do what they can to give it the means it needs to win, experts said in a statement.
