Among the priority areas for the restoration of Bucha is the restoration of the destroyed public and communal infrastructure.

The Italian humanitarian organization Cesvi will transfer the first half a million euros for the restoration of Bucha in the Kyiv region, which suffered at the hands of Russian invaders. This is stated in a press release from one of the largest Italian humanitarian organizations Cesvi.

The Fund allocates the first 500 thousand euros for the restoration of public infrastructure and social facilities in Bucha. The fund noted that this is not the only tranche. The amount for the restoration of Bucha will be increased by charitable contributions that the foundation attracts from private and public donors, in particular from the municipality of the city of Bergamo, where its headquarters are located.

Among the priority areas for the restoration of Bucha are the restoration of the destroyed public and communal infrastructure, the restoration of housing, the re-equipment of special equipment fleets (ambulances, fire trucks, public transport).

The city of Bergamo came out with a proposal to establish a sister relationship with the city of Bucha. This will be a long-term close cooperation, which will include the development of the city - in the communal and social spheres, - said Piersilvio Faggiano, general manager of the Cesvi Foundation.

It is noted that since the beginning of the war, the Cesvi Foundation has already allocated 1.5 million euros for humanitarian assistance. The foundation was founded in Bergamo in 1985 and is now present in 23 countries.

The city of Bucha near Kyiv in the first days of the war was under the control of Russian troops. At the end of March, when the Russian military left the city, dozens of bodies of civilians were found in Bucha. Photos and videos with the bodies of those killed, as well as stories of local residents about what was happening in the city, were published by world media and international human rights organizations. The city itself was almost completely destroyed.
