Two children were killed in Donetsk region as a result of Russian shelling, and an elderly woman was also wounded.



This was reported by the head of the Donetsk regional military administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko, in Telegram.

According to him, on July 21, at about 15:00, the invaders fired on the village of Druzhba. One of the artillery shells hit the courtyard of a private house. On the street were children who received injuries incompatible with life.

Two children were killed by Russians today in Donetsk region - in the village of Druzhba in the Toretska community. Around three o'clock in the afternoon, the Rashists shelled the village from artillery - one of the shells hit the yard where there were children - a 10-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl. A brother and sister. They received wounds incompatible with life," Kirilenko said.

In addition, an elderly woman was injured. She suffered in hospital.

The head of Donetsk OVA urges local residents to evacuate and take children to safe regions.

Children should not live near the war. For the preservation of their lives you are responsible, including to the law, - he added.

Recall tonight the enemy shelled Chernihiv and Odessa regions. According to preliminary information - no one was injured. It is worth noting that in the Odessa region it was the fourth attack in a week. It is noteworthy that the Russians again hit an agricultural enterprise, destroying 100 tonnes of peas and 20 tonnes of barley. The day before, on 19 July, a massive shelling in Odessa Region destroyed 60,000 tonnes of grain that was to be sent abroad.
