Doctors forgot a foreign object in the child's body during the operation

It is reported by the Kiev regional prosecutor's office.

Doctors performed an operation on a 7-year-old boy in the surgical department of one of the region's hospitals. After being discharged from the hospital, the child complained of feeling unwell. The parents brought their son to the Okhmatdet NSCL, where he underwent a second operation, during which the doctors removed a piece of tissue from the child's body, the report says.

The prosecutor's office conducts investigative actions and establishes all the circumstances of the incident.

The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of restriction of liberty for up to five years or imprisonment for up to three years with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for up to three years.
