The Czech Republic is also hosting 1,038 Ukrainian refugees, mostly women, children and elderly men, in need of temporary shelter and support.

Almost at the same time as the Czech Republic, additional military support was announced by the Finnish Defence Ministry. 3 Leopard 2 tanks are in their assistance package. The total value of this assistance is 160 million euros

As part of international cooperation on Leopard armoured vehicles, Finland will transfer three Leopard 2 main battle tanks to Ukraine, including training related to their use and maintenance. The Finnish Ministry of Defence says it will engage in further cooperation on Leopard tanks in the foreseeable future.
