US wants Ukraine to return temporarily occupied territories
The US, together with its partners, will work to ensure that Ukraine has something to defend and reclaim its land.
During a joint press conference with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said:
Throughout this process, at every stage, we will work very closely with the Ukrainians, and we will also work with our other partners and allies to ensure that Ukraine has what it needs to defend itself effectively, and to continue to reclaim territory seized by Russian forces. As the conflict changes, so does the support we provide.
At the same time, US President Joe Biden told Congress that the states will stand with Ukraine for as long as it takes
The US President added that the country's political forces remain united in opposing Russian aggression in supporting Ukraine.
