Biden responded to Putin's threats with nuclear weapons

US President Joe Biden made a statement during a speech at the 77th UN General Assembly.
President Putin openly threatened Europe with nuclear weapons. Now Russia is raising more and more troops to join the fighting, and the Kremlin is organizing bogus "referendums" to try to annex Ukrainian territories in a grave violation of the UN charter, Biden said.

Biden stressed that the nuclear non-proliferation regime is one of the UN's biggest successes.

He stated that Western countries allegedly allow themselves "nuclear blackmail" against the Russian Federation.
