IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi announced another visit to Ukraine

Before that, Grossi met with the Foreign Ministers of Ukraine and Russia, Dmitry Kuleba and Sergey Lavrov. During these meetings, he discussed the situation with nuclear safety.

This was stated by IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi at a press conference on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York.

I have just discussed with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba and I hope that I will be going to Kyiv soon. And, perhaps later, at a certain point in time - to Russia, - said the IAEA Director General.

Before that, Grossi met with the Foreign Ministers of Ukraine and Russia, Dmitry Kuleba and Sergey Lavrov. During these meetings, he discussed the situation with nuclear safety.

It is worth recalling that the Zaporozhye NPP has been in the spotlight since the beginning of August. Since then, it has been regularly shelled by the Russian military. Russia has rejected calls to demilitarize the nuclear plant under the pretext that it must "protect it" from provocations, and blames Ukraine for the shelling. The IAEA is trying to resolve the situation. But so far without visible results.
