Biden says US will do all it can for Ukraine

The US president has backed Poland's intention to supply tanks to Ukraine.
United States President Joe Biden, when asked by journalists about providing Ukraine with Leopard tanks, has said that Ukraine will receive all the assistance it needs to fight the Russian army, CNN has reported.
"Ukraine will get all the help it needs," the American president said.
It should be noted that the Western allies have not yet agreed on providing Ukraine with Leopard 2 main battle tanks at the Ramstein meeting.
At the same time, United States Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin urged the participants in the Ukrainian Defence Contact Group meeting (the so-called Ramstein-8) not to slow down the pace of support for Ukraine. He said that Russia was regrouping, recruiting and trying to re-equip its troops to go on the offensive again. At the same time, Austin said after the meeting that no decision on providing Ukraine with German Leopard main battle tanks as well as American M1 Abrams tanks was yet taken.
