Zelensky spoke about the good news from the European Union

The European Union approved a number of decisions that are important for Ukraine.
The Council of the European Union approved the allocation of 5 billion euros of macro-financial assistance to Ukraine. The country received the first tranche of macrofinance in the amount of 1 billion euros in July. This was stated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in his video message .
The President also said that the EU Council approved the decision to stop the visa facilitation agreement between the EU and Russia.
This decision will take effect from Monday. And there are also specific recommendations of the European Commission on visa restrictions for Russian citizens,” the president added.
The head of state noted that this is a good step, and first of all for Europe itself, since the restriction on the entry of Russians into the EU will reduce the risks for the Commonwealth itself.
This will complicate the cynical use of Europe by those who do not want to change anything, do not want to fight against the war, but just want to consume and have fun, as if nothing is happening in Europe, as if there is no Russian terror,” the president explained.
Zelensky stressed that Russia is eyeing the EU and considers this part of the territory as its next goal.
And it is right that Europe is defending itself,” Zelensky added.
