Zelensky arrived in Nikolaev

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky made a working visit to Mykolaiv region. During the trip, he awarded the head of the Nikolaev OVA Vitaly Kim with the Order of Bogdan Khmelnitsky III degree. This was reported by the press service of the Office of the President of Ukraine.

Kim was awarded the Order for his personal contribution to the protection of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, courage and selfless actions during the defense of settlements from Russian invaders.

Also, the mayor of Nikolaev Alexander Senkevich was also awarded the Order "For Courage" III degree.

The President also conferred the military rank of Brigadier General on Colonel Andrei Gnatov.

In the region, the president held a meeting on the current situation in the region.

We discussed the state of the economy, the restoration of water supply, the situation in agriculture. Special attention was paid to threats from land and sea. We do not stop working for the sake of Ukraine's victory.

The Office of the President also reported that representatives of the military command of the region reported on the situation in the combat zone on land and in the Black Sea.

The participants of the meeting paid special attention to the material and technical support of a separate group of troops "Primorye" and their defense needs.

The day before, Russian invaders fired rockets at Nikolaev, two people were killed and 20 more were injured. From a missile strike 4 residential multi-storey buildings and an infrastructure facility.
