Zelensky explained why the offensive on the front is slower than expected

Ukrainian troops are advancing towards the enemy in the east and south of our country.
The Ukrainian counter-offensive on the frontline remains less intense as the Ukrainian army has so far lacked weapons, equipment and ammunition. This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
If you have a shortage of armoured vehicles, a shortage of tanks ..., then you will just lose people .... you will march one, two, three or five kilometres, but you will lose thousands of people. They'll just die, and you won't achieve the objective that we need. This is the complete de-occupation of our entire territory," the president stressed.
Zelenskyy stressed that Ukraine was waiting until it had the capacity for a counterattack. He also noted that while at the level of allies they were discussing arms supplies, Russia was strengthening its positions on the captured territories - mined all directions as much as possible.
They did a lot of fortifications 8 years ago..., starting from 2015-2016..... they did it in Donbas after its occupation," he pointed out.
At the same time, the Ukrainian leader noted that Kiev still received from allied countries the necessary weapons to move forward.
We would like to point out that Denmark announced its intention to provide Ukraine with 19 F-16 fighter jets. The first group of F-16 fighter jets that Denmark is ready to provide will be delivered to Ukraine closer to the New Year. We are talking about the first six aircraft.
