The address was dedicated to the participants of the European Council.

The Ukrainian president said this in a video published on his Telegram channel.

This video was dedicated to the participants of the European Council.

First. We must not delay the transfer of weapons to our soldiers, which can protect Ukrainians from terror. First of all, long-range weapons.

The second example. I am grateful for the decision on MiGs for Ukraine: it will significantly strengthen the protection of our skies. But we need more modern aircraft.

Third. There cannot be any hint of even a delay in sanctions decisions. Neither can there be an erosion of sanctions, especially under the manipulative cover of food security. Strong sanctions are security; weakening sanctions is an invitation to new crises.

A fourth example. We have been talking about organising the Peace Formula Summit for a long time. We all well understand that in current conditions many leaders, unfortunately, will not be able to come to Ukraine. We can organize a summit in one of the world capitals, in one of the European ones. Wouldn`t it give a global power to Europe? Yes, it will.

And the fifth. It is critically important that there is no delay in rapprochement between Ukraine and the EU. Ukraine is ready for the decision to begin negotiations on the membership of the European Union as early as this year. The same willingness is needed from every European leader.

It is worth recalling that the day before Volodymyr Zelenski visited the de-occupied territories of Kherson region. Including those places which suffered from Russian aggression.

Before that, Zelenskyy also visited Ukrainian positions in the Bakhmut direction.
