The authorities of the Kiev region will buy housing for IDPs


At least 240 thousand internally displaced persons arrived in the Kyiv region from other regions of Ukraine due to hostilities.
The authorities of the Kyiv region plan to buy 2-3 thousand ready-made apartments from developers for those who lost their homes due to the war. they plan to spend more than 2.8 billion hryvnias from the budget. Kievvlada writes about this.
For redemption agreed apartments at a recommended price of 24 thousand hryvnia per sq. m. meter. But none of the developers agrees to such an amount. There is a possibility that this figure will be revised upwards - up to 30 thousand hryvnia per sq.m.
Apartments are planned to be purchased in such cities as Bucha, Irpen, Brovary, Bila Tserkva. They are also considering options for acquiring housing in Mironovka, Belogorodka, Glevakha, Chabany, Tarasovka and Cellars.
All these processes will take place within the framework of the regional program "New House".
It is also noted that 25,710 objects were damaged during the hostilities in the region. Of these, 5,414 were completely destroyed. Of these, two-thirds are residential properties. The number of families in need of housing is 11,319.

It is known that more than 240,000 internally displaced persons have also registered in the Kyiv region. Most of the forced migrants are in Belotserkovsky, Obukhovsky and Boryspil districts. This is about 150 thousand people. Among them are the elderly and children.
Internally displaced persons who were forced to leave their place of permanent residence due to hostilities or occupation by Russia can receive assistance from the state in the amount of 3,000 hryvnia for each child or person with a disability and 2,000 hryvnia for each other person.
