Vegans in UA Army ask for help

On the website of electronic petitions, Ukrainians are asking to introduce vegetarian and vegan dry rations for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, many years ago, intended to gradually switch to food according to standards close to the armies of NATO countries. Among them is taking into account the dietary habits of military personnel, the petition says.

So, in the States, there is a vegetarian American military MRE.

Volunteers emphasize that such an initiative will not be so burdensome. After all, food of plant origin is not only not more expensive than "meat" but often cheaper. The manufacture and purchase of such products save the ecosystem. And also protect the health of the military.
