The AFU revealed whether an "attack on Kiev by hundreds of planes" is possible

The enemy did not pull additional planes to the borders with Ukraine.
Colonel Yuriy Ignat, spokesman for the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said in a telethon on Tuesday, 21 February.
Ignat also stressed that the number of aircraft used by the Russian Federation at 40 different airfields had not changed since the start of the big war:
Many "experts" talk about hundreds, some hordes of planes... Well there will be no such thing, so no one is at war, this is not World War II. In modern war, high-precision weapons, missile weapons are used... To say that there will be some massive attack on Kiev with hundreds of planes is already from another line. It is clear that this will not happen. Even at the beginning of aggression, the enemy used a dozen planes in a certain direction: flew, made a strike, lost some planes, flew back.
Noone will give an easy walk in the Ukrainian sky to anyone," the Air Force spokesman assured the Ukrainian Air Force, reminding that Ukraine's air defence system is now reinforced with modern Western systems, including heavy Iris-T and NASAMS systems.
