Volodymyr Zelenski said that a UN meeting and a vote on an appropriate "peace formula" for Ukraine was planned for the 23rd.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenski said at a joint press conference with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni in Kiev on Tuesday:
"It seems to me that our document, our 'peace formula', which has already been supported by a large number of states and we are waiting to be supported on the 23rd, when there will be a UN meeting and a vote on the relevant resolution - I think it is important that there is one position.
The president stressed that he was not privy to the specifics of the "peace plan" for the Russia-Ukraine war that China planned to present.
Zelensky added:
We are interested in all states - European states, all over the world, certainly India, Africa, China - to be involved in making sure that this war ends, to support our, I think, just peace formula.
