VRU predicts how many missiles Russia will fire at Ukraine on anniversary of attack
Ukraine's Verkhovna Rada expects Russian shelling to escalate on 22-24 February.
A member of the Verkhovna Rada committee for national security, defence and intelligence, Fedir Venyslavskyy, in an interview with Ukrinform, admitted that the Kremlin would increase shelling of Ukrainian territory on 22-24 February.
In my opinion, from 22-24 February, there is a high probability of an escalation of the military situation," he said.
At the same time, the politician drew attention to the fact that Russia no longer has the missile power it had at the beginning of the war. In his opinion, most likely, if it shells Ukraine these days, it will be dozens of missiles, not hundreds as before.
It will definitely not be hundreds, but dozens, possibly up to a hundred missiles," he clarified.
In his opinion, the Russian Federation now has tens to hundreds of high-precision missiles in stock, a critically low level of stockpiles that the aggressor cannot afford to fully use up.
Venyslavskyy also drew attention to the balloons that Russia is launching into Ukrainian territory. In his opinion, this is a kind of reconnaissance by the Russians to understand where and how the Ukrainian air defence system works.
