The AFU needs SAMP/T and Patriot systems, which Ukraine expects from partners.

Air Force spokesman Yuriy Ignat said this in an interview.

Ignat said that the Russians failed to arrange a blackout:

The Russians have seen that they have failed to arrange a winter blackout in Ukraine, the daylight hours are getting longer and energy consumption is less, so there may be a reduction in attacks on energy infrastructure. At the same time, the enemies may switch to trying to destroy other critical facilities: the trasnport and hydro engineering.

Igat said that Ukraine is waiting for SAMP/T and Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems:

These (air defence means - ed.) are exactly what we need against ballistic missiles and certain types of cruise missiles, such as X-22. And protect priority areas from strikes by them, particularly ballistic missiles.

In general, Ignat assumes that "nothing will change" in the issue of hostilities in Ukraine in spring and summer. He recalled how our state had already gone through periods of war of these times in 2022.
