- More than 200 searches are carried out simultaneously in Ukrainian military commissions

Law enforcers continue to check the functioning of territorial centres for recruitment and social support, military medical and medical and social expert commissions.
More than 200 searches are currently being conducted in Ukraine. The Office of the Prosecutor-General has also unmasked conscription evasion schemes, the Prosecutor-General's Office has said.
The investigation into the work of Ukrainian military commissions is being conducted under the procedural guidance of prosecutors of the Specialized Prosecutor's Office for Defence.
Law enforcers found large-scale corruption schemes in almost all regions of the country. Preliminary data indicate that officials of military commissions, VLK and MSEC are likely to be involved in them. Now more than 200 searches are being conducted in all regions of the country in the premises of TCC, MSEC and VLK," reported the UCP.
It is known that the employees helped evaders for a fee to get disability or recognise them as temporarily unfit for service. Thus, the men avoided or postponed conscription.
The Prosecutor General's office adds that criminal proceedings have been initiated for each exposed fact, including for abuse of power or official position (Article 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
Earlier Socialportal reported that Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree on the dismissal of regional military commissars. In their place should be appointed persons involved in military operations. Also, the State Bureau of Investigation is currently considering 111 cases against military commissars. Fifteen indictments against TCC and SP officials have been sent to court.
