The Ukrainian president's office has commented on the statement by the head of the European Commission about incredible losses among the Ukrainian military

The European Commission has already admitted its mistake.
Ukrainian presidential press secretary Serhiy Nikyforov commented on the situation to Suspylne.
He said that only the Ukrainian commander-in-chief, defence minister or supreme commander-in-chief should give reliable information about casualties. He added that President Zelenski would release official data "when the time is right" because this is sensitive information.
The head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, said during a speech in Brussels that more than 20,000 civilians and 100,000 Ukrainian military personnel had been killed so far.
Later, a video with fantastic figures of losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the war was removed from the European Commission president's Twitter page. Now there is a re-downloaded segment of the video, in which only estimates of economic losses can be found.
The European Commission also commented on the situation. The European Commission's Director for Political Communications, Dana Spinant, said that the figures on Ukraine's losses during the war included casualties and fatalities.
Thank you to those who pointed out inaccuracies in the figures in an earlier version of this video. The estimate used from external sources should refer to casualties, i.e. both dead and wounded, and should show Russia's brutality.
