According to the information, a man with a gun tried to enter the territory of the Russian Defence Ministry building in central Moscow.

The incident took place at a checkpoint near the main building of the Defence Ministry on Frunzenskaya Embankment. A man in an inadequate state with a gun was trying to enter the territory of the ministry. He was shouting loudly and waving his arms. The intruder was quickly detained; he was unable to explain his motives.

There were no injuries as a result of the incident.

The man has already been detained and his weapon confiscated. Preliminarily, the weapon in question was a pneumatic pistol. The man was charged with disorderly conduct and sent to a psychiatric department for examination.
