Large-scale explosions in Moscow and Barnaul


A large shopping centre caught fire in Moscow and a tyre factory in Barnaul.
It was reported by Moscow EMERCOM and Russian media.
Tonight there was a major fire in Moscow's MEGA Khimki shopping mall, with its area reaching 17,000 square metres, and explosions were heard at the scene. A large construction shop burned down.
Aviation could not be used to extinguish the fire because of the explosions. The building of the shopping centre has collapsed.
The preliminary cause of the fire is a short circuit or arson.
At least one person died in the fire.

Another large-scale fire broke out in Russia today. A tyre manufacturing plant is on fire.
The fire is so big that a special train has been brought in to extinguish it, Russian media reports:
The fire broke out in one of the production buildings of a company in Barnaul. More than a hundred people and a fire train were involved in extinguishing the fire. The area of the fire is about a thousand square metres.
The fire is currently being extinguished.
