The Russians are constantly shelling border settlements.

Russian invaders are increasing their presence in the occupied part of Luhansk Region. One of the occupants' tasks remains to pull Ukrainian defence forces away from the frontline areas where Ukrainian soldiers are having success. This was reported by the head of the Luhansk OVA Artem Lysogor.

He also noted that the Russians are constantly shelling frontline towns and villages.

The occupiers open fire on villages along the front line. Nevskoye and Belogorovka are their daily targets. There they have increased air pressure with air strikes. In general, for several weeks now, the Russians have been increasing their presence, trying to pull our troops back to Luhanshchina from those parts of the front where we have had successes. Ukrainian defenders are courageously countering all the intentions of the enemy," Lysogor said.

He added that the situation in the region is deteriorating, both humanitarian and economic.

Lysogor drew attention to the fact that due to multi-million debts, the mines of Dovzhanskaya and the surrounding settlements are under the threat of being de-energised, while the local association "Vostokugol" has already been cut off from power supply.

Lysogor explained that the companies have nothing to pay because coal from the mines is exported to the territory of the Russian Federation, and the money does not come from there.
