ISW reveals serious problems in Russian army

The Russian army is incapable of reconfiguring its combat tactics and taking advantage of the terrain.
This was reported in an ISW (Institute for the Study of War) report.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces successfully lured Russian tanks into their kill zones before immobilizing Russian convoys and directing them to mined roadsides, and then finished off the vehicles with barrel artillery and HIMARS installations, the report said.
The Institute also said:
Russian units deployed near Ugledar, most notably the 155th Marine Brigade, are largely manned by poorly trained mobilised personnel, who had previously suffered huge losses in the area in October 2022, symbolising the inability of the Russian armed forces to learn from their mistakes.
The failures of the Russian forces have exposed the occupier's inability to conduct effective offensive operations.
