Umerov said what is needed to retake Avdiivka

Our soldiers withdrew from the city to avoid being surrounded by the enemy.
Avdiivka will definitely return under Ukrainian control. This was stated by the country's Defence Minister Rustem Umerov on his Facebook page.
According to the minister, this requires modern air defence systems so that the enemy could not use KABs, long-range weapons to destroy enemy warehouses and artillery shells.
We are working on this constantly. We are building and strengthening fortifications. Avdeevka - we will return," Umerov wrote.
He added that the decision to save people is the right one.
On the eve of the Commander-in-Chief of the AFU Alexander Syrsky announced that in order to save the lives of the Ukrainian military it was decided to withdraw units of the Defence Forces from Avdeevka. President Zelensky called this decision correct.
In his turn, the commander of the Tavriya task force, Brigadier-General Oleksandr Tarnavskyy, said that the withdrawal of Ukrainian units from Avdiivka took into account various scenarios, however, some of the military personnel were captured by the Russian occupants.
