Umerov made a statement on the liberation of Crimea

Ukraine has shown the whole world that it can succeed, the minister said.
Ukraine is preparing developments that will force the Russians to permanently withdraw from Crimea in 2024, Defence Minister Rustem Umerov has said on air during a telethon.
In particular, he pointed out that Ukraine had been able to achieve significant success in the development and use of technologies that Ukrainian defenders had adopted.
The defence minister said that Ukrainians have shown the whole world their ability to succeed even in a situation when the country does not have a powerful navy.
Despite the fact that we do not have such a powerful fleet, we forced Russia to withdraw from the temporarily occupied Crimea. Those developments, which we are preparing for 2024, will give us very good opportunities for them to move away permanently from our Crimea," the Minister said.
We would like to add that over the past 24 hours there were 95 military clashes on the front in Ukraine. Ukrainian defenders repelled 11 attacks on the Kupyansk direction, on the Limansk direction - an enemy attack near Spornoye in Donetsk Region, on the Bakhmut direction - 13 attacks.
