Ukrainians were reminded of the responsibility for participation in the referendums of the occupiers

Ukrainians were urged to evacuate from the occupied territories and reminded of the responsibility for participation in the referendums of the occupiers.
This was announced by Vice Prime Minister - Minister for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Irina Vereshchuk on the air of the telethon .
All this is a farce and a circus. But for our citizens who will take part in this, this is actually an article of the Criminal Code. Therefore, I urge, once again I urge, to evacuate everyone who can. And if it so happened that people are forced to remain in the uncontrolled territories, not to take part in any referendums under any pressure or any kind of coercion. It will not be possible later to justify the fact that a person went to a referendum, took some ballots and did something there, - Vereshchuk emphasized.
Vereshchuk said that only a tiny percentage of citizens agree to participate in the occupiers' referendums.
I am sure that this is not even 2% when we talk about the number of those people who remained, for example, in the Kherson region or Zaporizhzhia, - said the Deputy Prime Minister.
The Vice Prime Minister told how to avoid participation in the events of the Russian Federation in the occupied territories.
There are different ways to avoid this. The fastest and most correct is to evacuate. Especially if people consider themselves to be in the state sphere or local governments, or worked somewhere in the RGA or other authorities. Such people definitely need to evacuate, because these people will be forced to go under control and take part in their events. And people of retirement age, or farmers who have nothing to do with public authorities and cannot leave due to some circumstances, the best thing they can do is not to take part in the "referendum", not to take passports and not to go for cooperation,” Vereshchuk said.
Irina Vereshchuk reminded that autumn is ahead: autumn, rains, cold snap. People in the occupied territories will be without electricity, without heating, rains will wash away broken roads, there will be no communication.
So now make a responsible decision and leave now. We will survive the winter here, and then our army will hold the last "referendum" for them - they will throw them out of our land. Then we will go together to the de-occupied territory and we will restore our land, our Motherland," Vereshchuk said.
She stressed that for collaboration, participation in referendums threatens criminal punishment.
If collaborationism is proven, or, for example, participation in a referendum, or inducement to participate in a referendum, then people can get up to 12 years with confiscation, Vereshchuk said.
