General Staff update on Russian frontline losses as of the morning of 18 March

Russian casualties are already at around 164,200 dead.



Ukrainian defenders have eliminated another 880 Russian occupants in the war, as well as five tanks and 14 UAVs. This follows data from the AFU General Staff.

Total combat losses of the enemy from 24.02.22 to 18.03.23 are tentatively as follows:

  • personnel - about 164,200 (+880) men eliminated,
  • tanks - 3511 (+5) units,
  • armoured combat vehicles - 6830 (+7) units
  • artillery systems - 2,560 (+8) units
  • MLRS - 506 (+2) units
  • air defence forces - 265 (+0) units
  • aircraft - 305 (+0) units
  • helicopters - 290 (+0) units,
  • UAVs - 2,159 (+14),
  • cruise missiles - (+0),
  • ships / boats - 18 (+0) pcs,
  • vehicles and tankers - 5404 (+3) units
  • special vehicles - 259 (+1).

We would like to point out that the Ukrainian military repelled over 100 attacks by the Russian occupants in Liman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Maryinka and Shakhtar during the day. The invaders carried out 34 air strikes, 11 of which involved Shahed-136 drones, almost all of which were shot down.
