Ukrainian tankers to study 10-12 hours a day in Poland

105 Ukrainian tankers have arrived in Poland for training.
Ukrainian servicemen will start training on Leopard 2 tanks under the European military support programme EUMAM.
The press service of the Polish Defence Ministry has announced this.
Polish President Andrzej Duda has come to personally greet those who will start training.
On behalf of the President of Ukraine, we start training of Ukrainian tank crews. Experienced fighters, who are determined to defend the homeland, take part in the exercise. We carry out our allied activities through military and humanitarian aid, as well as by organizing training," the Polish president said.
The training of Ukrainian soldiers was organized at the training infrastructure of the 10th Armoured Cavalry Brigade in Świętoszów, a part of the 11th Lubusz Armoured Cavalry "Black" Division.
At the same time, similar exercises for Ukrainian tank crews have started in Germany. They will be held there at the Münster training range. It is reported that the German government has prepared an accelerated training programme for Ukrainian crews. It should be completed by the end of the first quarter of this year. Then the first Leopards will be sent to Ukraine.
