Ukrainian intelligence reveals volume of trophy Russian equipment with AFU
Captured Russian equipment is already fighting at the front and helping Ukrainian soldiers.
The speaker of the Defence Ministry's main intelligence directorate, Andriy Yusov, said this on Freedom TV.
The speaker compared the amount of trophy Russian equipment on the balance sheet of the Ukrainian Armed Forces with the amount of aid from several major states.
Yusov noted that the captured Russian equipment provides substantial assistance to Ukraine.
The assistance is comparable to several large states which help Ukraine. Yes, this is armoured equipment, including tanks and BMPs. Tanks are absolutely different - both modern and modified. Some of the captured equipment is already in combat and serving Ukraine. Some is under repair... This assistance is substantial, and it continues to arrive.
