Ukraine may receive a billion dollars of support from the World Bank

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy.

The package will provide financing for $1 billion - direct lending, financial guarantees, and trade finance instruments. It is expected that such funding will also mobilize private credit capital because IFC usually finances no more than 30% of the project cost, involving commercial banks in the financial consortium, - said Deputy Economy Minister Alexander Groban.

He added that this way, the total financing for projects of Ukrainian enterprises would amount to more than 3.3 billion dollars.

These funds are also planned to be used to introduce financial instruments supporting Ukraine.

And in October, the World Bank should present a trust fund in support of Ukraine during the annual meeting.
