Ukraine has started online negotiations with partners on extending the Black Sea Grain Initiative, which aims to allow Kiev to continue supplying grain to world markets.
The situation is complicated because a lot depends on partners, not Ukraine. Ukraine does not negotiate directly with Russia.
It is worth recalling that the grain agreement expires on 18 March 2023. Ukraine wants to extend the agreement for at least a year.
