Iryna Vereshchuk reveals how many children remain in Bakhmut

About 4,000 civilians still remain in the city.
Iryna Vereshchuk, Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories, said this on a TV marathon.
According to her, there are still about 38 children in Bakhmut.
Less than 4 thousand people remain in Bakhmut as of today, at least 38 children.
Before the full-scale invasion, more than 70,000 people lived in the city, of which 12,000 were children. Therefore 95% of residents have been evacuated, the official said.
Vereshchuk said it was difficult to get into the city itself because of constant shelling.
People who remain in the city are hiding in basements and are in an information vacuum.
At the same time, according to Vereshchuk, special evacuation teams and armoured vehicles are available to leave the city.
