U.S. is going to increase HIMARS production

This was stated by the CEO of Lockheed Martin, Jim Tyclet. It is this company that manufactures HIMARS.

Now they will produce 96 units of MLRS GMRLS and HIMARS per year. Previously, during this period of time, they produced only 60 cars.

One of the reasons for the increase in production is the supply of jet systems to Ukraine. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the United States has reported 38 HIMARS vehicles that were sent to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Ukraine has already received 20 installations. Another 18 are planned to be delivered when they are produced.

We pre-financed the work by $65 million to reduce production time, although this was done without a contract.
