The Russian Foreign Ministry responded to Zelensky's conditions for negotiations

Zelensky’s statement about his readiness to return to negotiations only in case Russian troops return to their positions on February 24 cannot be called constructive, Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko emphasized.

It should be noted that during the Ukrainian Breakfast in Davos on May 25, Volodymyr Zelensky said that Ukraine would fight until it regains its territories and noted that this stage of the war could turn into a format of negotiations between the presidents, when Ukraine realizes that the Russian Federation itself will demonstrate a desire to withdraw from the war.

The President noted that there is no desire on the part of Russia to negotiate.

We understand that there is a military part of the war, and after it, in any case, there will be a peace process and a negotiating table, and there will definitely be peace. The question is with whom Ukraine will negotiate, with which president of Russia. It also depends on the desire of the incumbent president of Russia,” he stressed.

According to Zelensky, Russian President Vladimir Putin is not aware of what is happening.

He lives in his own information world, not realizing that Ukraine will not make concessions. We are fighting on our own land and not against anyone, but for ourselves and for our freedom, the future. He must live in reality. Today you can only talk with the President of the Russian Federation, there is no point in talking with intermediaries, Zelensky said.
