A resident of the Kherson region, Viktor Chaika, walked 250 kilometers to get out of the occupation.

From the first days of the Russian invasion, Russian columns left the occupied Crimea through the native village of the pensioner Primorskoe, Shumsk.info writes.

Local residents destroyed several units of enemy equipment with Molotov cocktails, but the Russians began to shoot at houses in response.

In the end, the pensioner decided to save himself, took with him a small bag with things and set off on foot.

I walked 12 km from Primorsky to Skadovsk, from there - 40 kilometers to Gola Pristan, then another 25 kilometers to Oleshka, from there - to Kherson, Berislav and towards Nikopol.
More than once I had to spend the night in the bushes, because in the event of movement at night they could shoot without talking.

In total, in five days, the man covered 250 km until he managed to reach a relatively safe place. While he is in Western Ukraine and dreams of returning home.
