During the interview, Musk advised Vladimir Zelensky to abandon the counter-offensive and agree to peace talks with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.

The presidential office has reacted to the call by US billionaire Ilon Musk to go to talks with Putin and pity Russian soldiers who allegedly go to the front without feeling hatred towards Ukrainians. In particular, as Mikhail Podolyak, advisor to the head of the Office of the President, wrote, with such a statement the billionaire proposes to allow Russia to commit crimes against Ukrainians.

When someone who sits comfortably thousands of kilometres away from war and importantly argues about other people's fates suggests that Ukraine should agree to "negotiations/capitulation" after 600+ days of bloody genocide, he is really suggesting that Russia should be allowed to continue committing crimes, slaughtering civilians, killing global rules. Until the world finally chokes on democratic blood and recognises tyrants as global leaders," the politician believes.

Podolyak noted that Musk in his statements are driven by incomprehensible motives, in addition, Podolyak emphasised that the businessman does not understand the essence of this war.

And if everything is clear with the bloodthirstiness of Russians, then what drives some citizens of the countries of Democracy, who have not understood the essence of this war, its nature and the real purpose of Russia? And do not even want to realise the motives of those who, losing loved ones, are defending their right to their own lives and freedom...," his statement reads.

Note, Ilon Musk called on Zelensky to start negotiations with Putin and to feel sorry for Russian soldiers who are allegedly being sent to the front against their will.
