The GUR explained the reason for the re-education of Russian prisoners of war

Ukraine is reeducating Russian prisoners of war in order to de-zombie them. A representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry, Andriy Yusov, said this on air of the "Ediny Noviny" telethon.

According to him, teaching Ukrainian history to prisoners of war is not a question of "repeating the school curriculum, but of disombining people who are affected by Russian propaganda".

According to Yusov, this information is brought to the captive occupants in a voluntary mode. And a large number of them discover the true things that are clear to a Ukrainian or any other European from childhood.

Recently, journalists from The Times visited Ukraine's largest prisoner-of-war camp. Among other things, the captive occupants are taught a short course in Ukrainian history to refute the claim of Russian propaganda.
